Robyn Myers

Robyn Myers is very excited to be part of the Generation Hope community!  Robyn is a graduate of University of Maryland Global Campus with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science with a certificate in Diversity Awareness who transferred from Frederick Community College.  Robyn is dedicated to empowering disadvantaged youth and fostering community engagement within communities and has a strong commitment to eliminating barriers to education.  Robyn has had the privilege of working with students facing various challenges as a McKinney-Vento Coordinator at a local high school in Frederick, MD.   Recently her passion for working with students has driven her back to school to pursue a certificate in Restorative Practices.  

Outside of work and school, Robyn enjoys any type of dance fitness, travel, attending live music events, and learning new  recipes.  Robyn calls Frederick, MD home but loves to explore the DMV with her two children.

Why I chose this quote:

This quote has helped Robyn to get through the most difficult times in her  life.  In the midst of difficult tasks, it is easy to get lost in the details and want to give up but before you know it, you’ve completed the task!  It is a great reminder that times get tough but before we know it, we’ve accomplished our goals.
