Generation Hope hosted two Sponsor Open Houses to give those individuals, businesses, and organizations who are interested in becoming Sponsors more information about the application process, what to expect, and other details. January 16, 2013: Whole Foods 5% Day to Benefit

Whole Foods Foggy Bottom hosted a 5% Day to benefit Generation Hope on Wednesday, January 16th during which 5% of total sales for the day were donated to help more teen parents in the D.C. area earn college degrees. A big thank you to Whole Foods Foggy Bottom for their generosity!
Gift Card Month: The month of October
In October Generation Hope collected gift cards to offset the costs of our Scholar Program. People mailed or dropped off gift cards to Target, Staples, Walmart, Safeway, etc. We are in need of gift cards throughout the year, so if you'd still like to donate a gift card, please feel free to mail it to our office: Generation Hope, 1201 15th St., NW, Suite 420, Washington, D.C. 20005. Thank you to everyone who donated!
Septmber 12, 2012: "Night at the Museum"

Generation Hope hosted a night of learning and fun at the Alexandria Black History Museum in Old Town Alexandria to raise funds and awareness for our Scholar Program.

The 2012 Scholar class met their Sponsors for the first time and participated in a mentor/mentee training to ensure that their mentoring relationships are a success.

Generation Hope hosted its first Hope Conference bringing together Scholars and pregnant or parenting high school juniors to experience a day-long career, academic, and life-skills training that will encourage their success in college and beyond.
