Samuel L. Riggs Alumni Center, University of Maryland, College Park
The Generation Hope 2013 Hope Conference will provide Scholars with the best tools and information for personal, academic, and professional success. In addition, the conference will also include a track for pregnant or parenting high school juniors in the greater Washington D.C. Metro area who are contemplating college. This track will encourage them to attend college and will provide them with the information that they need to make applying/attending college as easy as possible.
To make this conference a success, we need organizations and individuals from the community to present workshops and seminars on various topics. We are also seeking human resources/career-placement representatives to conduct one-on-one meetings and resume reviews with interested Generation Hope Scholars and teen parents.
